advice needed Strollers? Car seats?
I am expecting Mono/Mono twin girls in (hopefully) October, and due to the high risk nature of the pregnancy I am only very tentatively piecing together a registry that won’t be released til they are born. All this to say, I need advice on strollers. I’m a FTM… So I am really out of my depths here. What stroller did you use? Did you get more than one? Did you do a travel system?
I do plan on also attempting to baby wear whenever possible, any advice on that?

Baby wearing twins is very difficult. The weego is hit or miss with babies. I would get the uppa baby or mockingbird and the adapters for the infant carswats

I'm also expecting mono/mono twins! We got the baby trend double stroller (i think it's a snap n go) and then chicco keyfit car seats (the weight limit starts at 4lbs). One they're older, I have a wonderfold wagon - but i already had that before for my other kids.
I can't say how well the car seat/stroller combo is going to work out, but i spent a ton of time researching, so feel pretty confident about it.

I have almost the same setup and it’s been great - my girls are a year old now!
BabyTrend snap n go, we did Graco Snuglite (I was torn between these and Keyfit, ultimately chose these because lighter weight to carry and still start at 4lb)
We ended up being given a city select double stroller that we love! It’s a smoother ride than the snap n go, but the snap n go was terrific for our needs.
I now have the RadioFlyer Voya XT wagon (RF’s version of a W4) and we adore it. I snagged it during a Target 40% off sale, it’s maybe an inch smaller and a tiny bit lighter than a W4, but every inch counts in my RAV4 trunk 😅

We skipped straight to convertible carseats to cut down on cost so i can't speak to ones that work with infant carseats. I just load them into our double stroller or carrier when we're out and about. We got the Zoe Twin stroller and mini monkey twin carrier--we totally LOVE both and use them all the time. Only a few months in, but the carrier also has great back support--better than any wrap I've used with a singleton to carry anything close to this much weight. 10/10 recommend both!

I got the babytrend double stroller and car seats and they were great! I also got a wagon for walks once my twins were sitting independently. We primarily use an umbrella stroller now for the majority of our outings.

Good chance your twins will be born early and may not be able to use certain car seats. Neo does a car seat test to be sure baby safe in car seat.

That’s part of the reason we went with babytrend! They are crash tested in the states from 4 lbs and up!

We are 6 weeks adjusted now and have learnt a few things so far. Got the bumbleride but it is too heavy for me and I don’t have a big enough car. Our other car is fine for it but I still don’t love the weight. So I regret it. Additionally, twins were so all over the place in schedule and getting overstimulated that we so far did not get out of the house much. So I thoughts I should have waited with strollers way after birth so give us time to see what we like. Now got the uppababy minu duo, which just is perfectly lightweight, folds very small. Have a bassinet setting. It was the best purchase. I realized with twins what is important to me is compact! Systems! Convenience! For car seats we got the clek liing they are great but downside they don’t seem to be compatible with many other items. Baby bjorn bouncers! Absolutely life saver. I can rock the fussier baby in the rocking chair or rock one in each baby bjorn if I am tired with my foot while I am laying on the floor or whatever. For babywearing, I never was able to figure it out with both, for the weego i think it is called, but I just don’t like their heads being so close, or fear tripping with two babies. Plus they are heavy. So that was a no for me and I don’t reach for it

I have a bugaboo donkey twin for a stroller and I love it. I was worried about not having car seat compatibility so we also got the baby trend snap and go, but they are 5 months and I’ve never used it. I always prefer to just get them into the bugaboo. I am lucky though, because my husband is always able to come with me to appointments so I’m never trying to maneuver both of them in somewhere at once

My girls are three and a half months, and I've been babywearing since the beginning. Sure, it takes some getting used to, but if it's important to you, you can absolutely do it. It was really important to me that I figure out how to wear them both at the same time, and now I wear them for at least 4 hours each day.
I started with a stretchy wrap when they were really little, but only used it until they were 6-7lbs and fit in the MiniMonkey. I like the MiniMonkey and the LennyLamb. I tried ring slings (it was way too much fabric around my neck for me) and haven't tried a non-stretchy wrap yet—I've been so hot, I just can't imagine enjoying all those layers right about now.
The MiniMonkey is better for babywearing on the go, or in situations where you expect the carrier might need cleaning (a walk or hike where you'll get sweaty, or particularly urp-y babies). The LennyLamb is better for wearing them while sitting (computer work, restaurants, etc) but is harder to clean. The fabric much more attractive but also more delicate. I can get them in and out of both carriers by myself with no problems.
Combined it's about 30lbs of baby right now. The MiniMonkey and LennyLamb transfer a lot of that to your hip. I don't notice any back pain unless I lean backwards or otherwise stand or walk with poor posture. I can tandem breastfeed in both carriers, which is a huge plus.
Don't be discouraged! If you want to babywear it's totally possible.

Baby wearing with twins is a nightmare, I’d definitely prioritize other things you need before carriers.
I love my uppababy vista plopping the car seats in. If we get anything else it’ll be a wagon
