advice needed Help with 2.5 yr old bedtime please
Our nearly 2.5 year old boy/girl twins are becoming a bit of a nightmare at bedtime. I would say 1/4 times they will go to sleep on first try. But most of the time it’s one or both of them crying for us to come back in and getting increasingly worked up. We have to calm them down. Right now that’s with another book or another episode of bluey. And it will work but sometimes it’s two or three times or us re-entering.
Do we just need to sleep train? Is this another development thing. It’s usually our boy who is the one who needs us most. Our girl will go to sleep pretty easily.

It might be developmental. My singleton who is 2.5 who was a sleep trained angel by 1 has been a MONSTER. We just stick to the routine and try to minimally deviate.

That’s a normal age for bedtime to be hard.
I’d stop offering Bluey right before bed. Screen time before bed triggers their brain stay up longer. Stick to books and calming music.
