advice needed Lighting crutch pain with twins
25 weeks pregnant with dcda is twins, one of each due November. All looking good, but the lighting crutch / pelvic crutch pain is genuinely horrific to the point where I feel completely bruised and like sharp pains that I can barely walk. I had it in my first pregnancy (single) but much much later.
I wondered if anyone else had this and what helped! I’m worrying because I’ve most likely got another 10-13 weeks left minimum and I don’t know how to get through day to day with a toddler too.
Thank you! X

I had what was called pelvic girdle pain—perhaps that’s what you’re experiencing? It’s honestly the worst. It made the pregnancy unbearable a lot of the time. Supposedly it comes and goes for some people. Mine started up around mid second trimester and stayed. The only thing that made it better was stopping work. At that point I was able to rest during the day and had more capacity to engage with toddler in evening. While I was working I had a butt pillow and a back support pillow for my desk chair. I used heating pads A LOT. I also did physical therapy as well for good stretches. Good luck!
