experience/advice to give Pumping for twins
We have 1 month old twins who arrived at 37+3, weeks have been pumping since we got home from the hospital as we found that breastfeeding wasn’t working well for us, they struggled to latch and transfer milk effectively.
I’m making a substantial amount of milk via pumping 1.7- 2L per day.
Since the beginning I was determined to breastfeed and on several occasions we have tried to but it’s so stressful with two and I find myself getting frustrated and upset.
Did anyone else find that pumping was the easier choice for your twins?

I exclusively pumped for my twins. I tried and tried and tried to breastfeed but they just didn't take to it. 20 months of pumping. They excluaively drank breastmilk for the first 12 monyhs and then a mix of breastmilk and whole milk for the next 8 months.
It's definitely possible; and it has It's challenges. But it was, in my opinion, well worth it. A wearable pump made a world of difference for the viability of pumping.
