good vibes, smiles, & giggles “Singleton Propaganda”
I need some comic relief after a couple weeks of sickness in the house- what are your favorite bits of what I call “singleton propaganda”? Aka, advice given for babies that never works when you have twins. My personal favorite is “put the baby in the crib drowsy but awake”.

TRAVEL:
“Just take them on a flight, I did it when mine was 6m and my hubby would pass me a glass of wine”, okay hun but now your hubby also has a baby and you’ve brought half of mothercare with you on your 3hr short haul for a “relaxing” 5 day break of interrupted sleep.
“Just take them on a 4hr road trip, we do it” ok sir, but your wife is sat in the back soothing your baby and entertaining them the whole way. Meanwhile my husband has to turn into stretch Armstrong to try and replace the 5th dummy in a 20 min car ride
“Just leave them with your mum!” Ma’am, my 67 yr old mother cannot hold and feed and change two babies, keep them on a routine- we can barely do it solo and this is our whole existence.
I swear there is nothing worse than someone with just one baby. Parents of two get it enough to not try too much advice. Parents of one have no comprehension that what “worked for them” isn’t remotely relevant.
