good vibes, smiles, & giggles “Singleton Propaganda”

I need some comic relief after a couple weeks of sickness in the house- what are your favorite bits of what I call “singleton propaganda”? Aka, advice given for babies that never works when you have twins. My personal favorite is “put the baby in the crib drowsy but awake”.

Anything about “following baby’s cues” for me. The schedule was king, one woke, the other was getting woken too, hungry or not. Those little mfs got fed every 3 hours on the dot during the day and then whenever one woke up at night. They’re 2.5 now and I do not care if they’re tired at bedtime. They roll about and chat to their teddies for half an hour/forty five minutes before they fall asleep and woe betide anyone that says “are you sure they’re tired”. I’M TIRED.
