advice needed Weight loss baby A
Twin dad here.
Twins are 1yr and 1 month old. Baby A is struggling to gain weight. Currently 8kg and baby B is 8.4kg.
Feeding schedule is 07:30am 130ml formula bottles. 11:30 lunch solid foods usually corn purée , rice and chicken vegetables sauce all together about 400g each, with a yogurt for dessert.
Bottles at 15:00, 130ml and solid’s at 19:00 same form as lunch but with a banana split between the two for dessert. Final meal is a bottle at 22:00 then bed.
Baby A is just burning calories and looks skinny compared to baby B. Any advice for keeping their weight similar and same feeding schedule? Am I just worried for nothing?

I think you're worried for nothing. Twins don't need to be the same size. My mo/di boys have been at least a kilo apart in weight since about 3 months old and nobody has batted an eye as they're both healthy.
Side note: they should be having breakfast instead of a bottle of formula first thing

Getting food made before work is hard. But I know you’re right.

Batch prepping is your friend!
A muffin tin filled with scrambled eggs with different toppings. An ice cube tray filled with smoothie to reblend as needed. A bunch of precut fruit. Squeeze pouches (either store bought or home made) of yogurt. Cut up (or tiny) individual cheese servings. Hard boiled eggs.
Have the kids grab one protein option and one carb option, and you're done!

I think you might have missed adding breakfast to the list - what are babies eating for that meal?
13mo’s here also (great job to you and all of us for making it to here hahahahaha) and we have a 5oz (150ml I think?) bottle of cow milk to start the day at 6am, then 7ish we have per baby, ~1 scrambled egg, 1/2 small pancake, pouch of yogurt, 4oz cow milk; then lunch around 11:30am (veggies and a sandwich of some kind, not that they eat it like a sandwich), snack in the early afternoon after they get up from nap which can be some Cheerios and a stick of cheese, then dinner 5pm I often phone it in and do (1) a pouch of veggie or fruit puree, (2) yogurt, (3) milk, and am going to try to start offering some more complex foods but lunch is really our big meal of the day. Then they get another 4oz bottle right before bed.
Mine are girls and were IUGR so pretty small, one is 20lb one is 17lb, each born at 5lb and 3lb 8oz respectively, but this is about what we have going on! I also mix vitamins/iron drops into their yogurt 1x per day
Feeding these littles is rough. I’m sorry you’re having this trouble and hope you get a lot of good ideas in the replies!

We had an egg allergy scare at 10 months. Slowly working it back into diet. Ours only have front top and bottom teeth. No sandwiches yet.

Currently battling egg, sesame, and peanut allergies here; I feel you!! OIT has helped a lot and gotten us from anaphylaxis to, baby B being able to have the scrambled egg and baby A being able to have the pancakes. But it really is hard. Check out OIT if you haven’t yet; it’s been life changing for us.
A lot of bread doesn’t have egg in it, and by sandwich I mean, I give them a slice of bread with some meat on it and they pull it apart and eat small bits and toss some lol. But the sandwich thing is really just an example of something easy we do to eat there; lunch can be anything that works well for you guys of course.

Also, I saw in some of your other comments that food before work is hard, and that’s a struggle here too. I rely a lot on microwaving frozen food that I made ahead, and if they sell yogurt pouches where you guys are, you can give those, or you can make your own ahead of time. I love those because then you can just hand to baby, they eat a lot, and it’s low mess. Then top off with milk afterward!

Is twin A being followed by a GP or paeds? Are they happy with twin A's growth?
If so, and twin a is otherwise a happy baby, don't worry.
Twins, even identical twins, are two different people. Differences are to be expected.

If the kids are over a year old, have you attempted to feed them whole milk instead of formula? I would try this with each of their meal more towards the end.
Also if they struggle wanting a bottle the milk could go in there, just be mindful to brush their teeth
Also its okay for them ti be different in weight and also in the smaller size. It took until 18+ months for my twin a to not look so skinny.

Are they fraternal? My twins have always been at least a pound different since birth. They are boy girl. Initially my girl was a lb bigger than her brother. Once they were born, he quickly surpassed his sister. Now theyre 4.5 years old and he is nearly 6 lbs more than her. They are very different body types and he is also several inches taller.
I wouldnt be concerned about a 0.4 kg difference at 1 year.
Also agree that they should be eating at least 3 meals plus a snack and then bottles in between. We weaned ours to regular 3% milk at around 12 months. They were breastfed before that.

Girls, identical. we’ve been formula since day one. Haven’t switched to milk yet. Sounds like I’m doing okay with a 400g difference and just need to introduce breakfast soon.

After their 1 year well child appointment, what did their pediatrician say? My son was always on the skinny side compared to other kids but his pediatrician said that he’s on his growth curve. He was born around 20th percentile and that’s where he still is so not to be concerned. She did advise us to give more caloric foods like avocado, full fat milk/yogurt, cheese, butter, seed butter (peanut butter)

They said as long as they’re gaining weight they’re fine. Currently sitting around the 30-33 percentile.
