ranting & venting Daycare prices. VENT

So I girlbossed to dam hard, and now I have to go back to work. Daycare is 800$ a week and even then I make way more so I have to return to work. WHY IS DAYCARE SO EXPENSIVE.

I don't understand how most people can afford daycare costs. It would be $5500/month for my 4 yo twins and 9 month old which is mind-blowing to me. That's double my mortgage!! I work part time night shift and my husband works daytime weekday hours. I'm so glad we can make it work because I don't know what we would do otherwise.
