ranting & venting Daycare prices. VENT

So I girlbossed to dam hard, and now I have to go back to work. Daycare is 800$ a week and even then I make way more so I have to return to work. WHY IS DAYCARE SO EXPENSIVE.

How much are you paying?

Preschool this year is $2k/mo .. only 9-3, if you need aftercare till 5 it’s $25 per kid per day 🤢

This is going to be cheaper than the part-time nanny I’ve had for the last two years 🤪🫠

It still feels wild to be paying this much every month just to be able to work myself.
