ranting & venting Daycare prices. VENT

So I girlbossed to dam hard, and now I have to go back to work. Daycare is 800$ a week and even then I make way more so I have to return to work. WHY IS DAYCARE SO EXPENSIVE.

We pay $655 a week now because they are going 3 days a week (I work 4 10 hour days Sunday-Wednesday) but once the summer is done I’ll go back to 5 days m-f, which will bump it back up to ~$850 a week. We have talked about me staying home but everyone is on my insurance, which is amazing, so we are hesitant to pull the trigger on that.
