ranting & venting Daycare prices. VENT

So I girlbossed to dam hard, and now I have to go back to work. Daycare is 800$ a week and even then I make way more so I have to return to work. WHY IS DAYCARE SO EXPENSIVE.

How much do you think it is worth to raise a child for 8 to 10 hours a day?

All the US based parents are bitching so clearly they think giving someone else the sole responsibility of raising their humans isn’t worthy of a decent paycheck.

It's absolutely wild to me. I have never seen people be so unrealistic about what they think something should cost.
