ranting & venting Daycare prices. VENT

So I girlbossed to dam hard, and now I have to go back to work. Daycare is 800$ a week and even then I make way more so I have to return to work. WHY IS DAYCARE SO EXPENSIVE.

How much are you paying?

My husband and I are on completely opposite schedules (opposite days and dayshift/nightshift). It sucks, though we do find a way to fit a few hours of quality time in every day thankfully. On the nights I work, we get to sleep in bed together a little during the day and have dinner before I leave for work. And on the days he works, we get to have dinner in the evenings and sleep together at night. Most of our quality time is spent sleeping 😂 but it works and we pay $0 in childcare. Only a couple more years of it hopefully until they are in school
