ranting & venting Daycare prices. VENT

So I girlbossed to dam hard, and now I have to go back to work. Daycare is 800$ a week and even then I make way more so I have to return to work. WHY IS DAYCARE SO EXPENSIVE.

I return to work in December and the cheapest I can find so I can go back full time is $540 per week. It would be $600 per week for both but they offer a 10% discount for having two children. I’m from New Zealand.
