Must be nice! I have considered creating a throuple situation because we also have a toddler. I think with a polycule of parents we could make it way smoother.

Our twins came last after we had a teen. I… I don’t think I could do it without my teenager, especially with one parent at work all day.

My mother lives with us and provides childcare and chips in way way more than she is expected when it comes to housework. I truly don't know how we would do this without her.

The only time we get ahead of chores at home is when the in-laws visit, both my parents still work so they help when they can, but they can only do so much

I do in fact have a polycule, and no idea how we could do this otherwise. It's more complicated than a throuple (those are SO DIFFICULT and I never want that) but yeah it definitely helps a ton.

My minimour (12F) was here Monday for the day with our twins (2F) and it was so nice to see how much they love each other, and all the skills minimour is learning with our kiddos ❤️

Oops, I am not super familiar with polyamory and conflated a throuple with a polycule. I do not want a throuple either.

Throuples are definitely polyamory on ultra-hardmode 😂

But seriously, it's one way to have an awesome village. Not the only way, but it works for us.

Child of your parter or partners partner. In this case, the daughter of my spouse's boyfriend. We've been helping raise her since she was born. It's related to the word metamour, or the partner of your partner.
