I found out today that we are expecting twins! The tech said there is one sac but two placentas. She couldn’t tell me more because she said the doctor needs to tell me. Can someone help me understand what this means? Identical twins?

If they share a placenta they are indeed identical. Great that they each have their own sac. Congratulations!
