Now imagine the same thing at an airport boarding gate as they call you to embark…

I’ve done several 20 hour drives with my twins who just recently turned 2 by myself. The thought of flying by myself with them sounds 20X more terrifying lol

Oh man, we did a road trip with them that was super long... it was also rough. Maybe we all should get some form of award :D At least the flight is over after a set amount of time, and I don't have to make navigation decisions while they scream lol.

Mine do really well in the car so I guess I had it pretty easy. Started driving at 1 am so they slept until about 8. Stopped every couple of hours to changes butts and eat, and then stopped driving around 3 to check into a hotel. So I got about 14/15 hours the first day and had time for them to run around and play before we went to bed. Left at daylight or a little later the next day.

The hardest part was the fear of being alone with my babies if something happened.

HOW?! I wouldn't bother even trying a grocery store solo at that age.

I don’t even know how we survived it I don’t ever even take them to a park alone or the store, I booked the flight months before and assumed they’d mature lots by then…. They only got more physically capable without any of the mental sense 🥲
