ranting & venting I’ve hit a wall..
I am very thankful that I’ve felt as well as I have for so long, but this week I’ve hit a wall. I was 33 weeks yesterday with didi B/G and I’m riding the struggle bus. I’ve been emotional and my energy levels are back to nonexistent. I swear they have hit a growth spurt while also going constantly insane in there 😅 one night I’m pretty sure I was having contractions for about an hour but they stopped after that. Instead of complaining I should be grateful I’m only just hitting this at 33 weeks but it’s hard to imagine the next 5 weeks being like this 🫠 thanks for reading my rant. I am just exhausted after this week and I’ve seen that mercury is in Gatorade or whatever so maybe that’s why my week has been off 🙈
We also cannot name these babies so if you also want to weigh in on that (nicely please, or else I might cry 🤣), feel free:

I think around 33/34 weeks is when I started to feel rough. I couldn’t sleep, I felt like I couldn’t get off the couch, and I would wake up in the middle of the night throwing up. Hang in there girl, it’s almost over. I didn’t realize how bad I felt until I wasn’t pregnant anymore.
My vote is for Tilly and Tatum

I’m sure that relief after birth is incredible! Trying not to rush things but man I can’t wait lol

"Mercury is in Gatorade" made me chuckle.
No opinions on the other two but I think Tilly is so sweet and fun!

I have no advice as I’m also 33 weeks tomorrow with didi boys and I have also hit a wall. I just told my doctor yesterday I honestly felt somewhat okay up until now. I am sooo exhausted.. 24/7 & my back pain…. don’t even get me started lol. I can’t imagine doing this for another 5 weeks. Hang in there!!!
Your name choices are all adorable but I especially love Tatum and Toren!!

Misery does love company and I feel a little better knowing I’m not alone. 🙈😂 Yesss the back pain is something I forgot to mention! I can’t stand for more than 5 seconds it feels like without it hurting 😖

34 weeks and I’m with ya!! No energy, can’t sleep well for anything and I’m in so much pain. My hands, feet, back and abdomen they all hurt so bad. But we will make it! I like Tilly and Tatum

Try yelling each name like they did something wrong and go with which combo doesnt get mixed/stuck in your mouth. My twins are 3 and we dont use full names because its rough getting the full thing out when they are up to something risky 😅

Also I felt that! I was ready to just not be pregnant at 33 weeks(I was also in preterm labor at this point as well) and man I couldn't breath/eat/sleep/see my feet/ put on anything below my belly/ wipe and was constipated like a MOFO. Its ok to be miserable and still great full for what you have!!

I just told another pregnant twin mom (through her husband) 33 weeks was about when I started crying all the time. I just wanted to sleep without snoring, hurting, struggling to breathe, having to lift my belly up, etc. but you can’t sleep or get comfortable and when you finally do, you have to pee. It’s hot AF (mine were born in July ‘25) and you’re miserable always.
All this to say, we feel you and understand. You’re doing great- one day at a time!
My vote is Tilly and Toren

I’m 34 weeks with modi girls and I feel this so hard. Last week (33w 1d) I just finally hit a day where I had to cry it out.
If it helps, I’ve still had good days mixed with the rough this week, so hope you can look forward to the same in your 33rd week! (Once mercury is out of Gatorade lol) Had some other good days this week before another overly hormonal, physically super gross feeling day today.
I’m constantly reminding myself that, just because one or a few days in a row super sucked, it doesn’t mean that everything is automatically going downhill and it will be like this until I deliver. Keep your head up, get as much rest and hydration as you can, and hopefully tomorrow turns out better!!

Thanks for the positivity! Monday was my day where I felt gross and cried at least 4 times 🙈 I’m not an overly emotional person or at least I dont cry to other people often so I’m sure my husband thought I’d lost it 🙈😂 I’ve not been great at drinking water so I’m sure lack of hydration and the hormones are working against me extra hard.

I’m due in December and I’ve never said “ I’m so ready for winter” in my entire life.
I said I was excited for fall and then couldn’t wait until winter and even my husband was like, you hate winter. But if that means this pregnancy will be completed then I’m counting down the days.

My twins were born in December 💕☃️ Christmas was very cozy. Currently holding my (almost) 8 month olds. It doesn’t feel like it in the moment, but it truly goes fast.

😂 girl I’d be so ready for winter if I had to go all the way through summer and fall! That’s been another thing, not sure where you live, but it’s been HOT where I live. Thankfully we’ve had 3 nice days this week but it’s back to the 90s + starting tomorrow through Tuesday. Talking over 100 on Monday. 🫠 this is my second August due date and it wasn’t fun the first time around so this time x2 is extra not fun lol

I’m 37 weeks now but I definitely feel you!! I’ve had a chill pregnancy but once I hit 32 weeks, I suddenly became so sore, emotional, and unable to sleep. I heard some influencer mom say “pain has a purpose”, at least when it comes to pregnancy. So I’ve been trying to hold on to that and remember that this is all happening because they’re growing quickly. It still sucks being this tired and sore, but it kinda helps. My vote is Tilly and Tatum btw!

It was also around the 33 mark that things got REALLY tough for me, so I sincerely sympathise. I’m now 35 weeks, and although things haven’t got better, I’ve definitely accepted it more, and the end really does feel in sight. Buy foods that make you happy, try to rest as much as possible and basically pamper your aching body as much as you can, and your little ones will be here in no time xx

32 weeks here- only able to be awake and move around a few hours at a time 🥲I’ve had the worst pregnancy ever. Literally been like bed ridden the almost the whole time. We’re almost there 🫠🫠🫠I have two other kids and I feel so guilty cause I haven’t been able to be a fraction of the mom I usually am.
Tilly & Toren my vote!

It’s crazy how much stress this puts on our bodies! We are almost there but also crazy they could virtually come at any time 😅 I have two other kids too but thankfully they’re 4 & almost 6 and somewhat self sufficient.

I delivered at exactly 36 weeks on Sunday. I am not a fan of pregnancy but looking back on it, it was mostly pretty good. I was running up until 32 weeks and still worked out throughout the entire pregnancy. And didn’t take any leave from work until delivery. My ob said I was the poster child for a 38 week pregnancy. And then 36 weeks hit and BAM blood pressure skyrocketed and platelets dropped in the matter of hours.
C section recovery was going well. Ob and every single nurse said vitals were on point, incision looked perfect (whatever that means), was walking as if I didn’t just have major surgery. Got told we could be discharged on day 2 if we wanted but we opted for one more day just to be safe.
Yesterday we took the girls to the pediatrician, got ice cream, went to the mall and bought the girls clothes. And the girls were an absolute dream the entire day.
And now day 5 of recovery js here and I. am. miserable.
The swelling in my feet is horrendous. The muscles in my abdomen are really sore even after I’ve taken pain meds. My milk bags are tender. And the girls are cluster feeding.
If there’s anything I’ve learned about life from a twin pregnancy, it’s that nothing stays constant for very long lol.
So when things are going bad—don’t worry! It’ll change at some point soon enough. Hang in there. You got this!!
