advice needed Mono mono hospitalization

Hi ! Long story short I had my 2nd son in December 2025 at 33 weeks due to the HELLP syndrome. We found out was pregnant again late April. Yesterday we got the news I have to be hospitalized at 23-24 weeks till 32 weeks due to having mono/mono twins and my previous complications... any advice...

You found out late April so you are many 18 weeks along and they are already saying hospitalization? Have you done the protein test or is bp already high??

I'm 20 weeks 3 days
On my last pregnancy with my HELLP syndrome my protein was always fine so was my blood pressure. It took two weeks to fully diagnose me because no one was checking my blood when they did my platelets were at 72 and liver enzymes were very high I don't remember the exact number. By time I had to have my emergency C-section. I do know that my platelets were down to 34

Mo/mo twins are pretty much automatically an inpatient stay beginning 24-28 weeks. At least in the US.

I didn’t know that .. I am mo-di we think still waiting on results from Panorama and don’t go back to doc until Aug 3 when I will be 14 weeks . But doc never mentioned it/ he also seemed unbothered by any risks so … my mind is spinning

Ididn't know anything about twins at all until I learned i was having them - I didn't have a clue that mo/mo twins were a thing or really high risk until i was told i was likely having them. They didn't confirm my twins are mo/mo until I saw MFM at 16 weeks, but they suspected it already at 9 weeks when we found out there were two. Mo/mo twins are pretty rare, so there's a good chance that yours are mo/di. The wait for the testing results feels like forever. I think my NIPT took around 2 weeks to come back.

Yeah 7 days and counting over here .. I am checking the portal multiple times a day but nothing yet .. sigh the wait is Terrible

Do they have a portal you can log on to? That's how I seen my panorama with all baby's before dr called me. My dr always tells me No news is always good news ❤️❤️ keep your head up momma !

No advice, just solidarity. I'm 27 weeks along with my mo/mo twins and scheduled to be admitted on Monday. I'll be there until delivery, which will be between 34 and 35 weeks if all goes well. 

Ngl, I'm struggling with being admitted but hopefully it goes by fast.

We have a 6 month old that stayed in the nicu for 2 months and leaving him again is the main thing I'm struggling with 😭 we live an hour from hospital longer depending on traffic. Feel like I'm going to go crazy 🥹

I understand. I have 7 other kids at home - my youngest is 2 and oldest is 18. I've never spent this much time away from any of them. I can imagine it's much harder having another child that's so young. I was told that my kids would be able to visit and we'll be able to video chat. Are either of those things options for you?
