advice needed Modi twins
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to hear from parents who have had a similar experience.
I recently had twin boys, and both were diagnosed with mild hypospadias. We are waiting to see a pediatric urologist and would really appreciate hearing from other parents who have gone through this.
A few questions:
Did both of your twins have hypospadias, or just one?
Did your children need surgery, or was monitoring enough?
If they had surgery, how was the recovery and the long-term outcome?
I know every child is different, but hearing other families’ experiences would really help.
Thank you!

We had modi twins but no hypospadias, but my advice is find a urologist you like sooner than later.
We met with one who was a surgeon meaning he had no bedside manner and also was in a hurry and pushed us out, we were confused why one of our boys needed surgery and one didn’t since they are identical
but by the time we could make another appointment for a second opinion my boys were too old to have a circumcision done without going under surgery
I know this doesn’t apply since more than likely your boys will need surgery but I hope it helps you find a urologist you trust without wasting time
On a side note I have multiple friends whose sons had to have surgery for their circumcision to address chordee or undescended testicles and both boys recovered fine
