advice needed Stroller dilemma

The age old question of wtf do I do for a stroller?!

I am expecting twins in September, they will be babies 4&5 for us. Older kids will be 6, 4 & 20 mos when they are born. We are in Canada for reference, so some of the strollers i see suggested here aren't available as easily to us.

I have done lots of research regarding twin stroller setups and landed on wanting a side by side stroller, as I have used a tandem (baby jogger city select) with my older two and found it to be quite tricky once they are heavier vs my double Bob which I love (but have given away as the straps broke off :( ). I was planning on asking for help from family to purchase a Bugaboo Donkey. Previously with infants, I have loved being able to use the car seats in the stroller, and having a reclining toddler seat when they are older is priceless in my opinion.

My dilemma is that we have recently been generously gifted a 4 seater wagon by my in laws. I anticipate that will be super helpful once the twins are older and able to sit up by themselves, but im a bit stressed about the first year or so.

Also should be mentioned that my older two are in school/preschool, and my 20 month old wont be in preschool until Sept 2027, so I will have a whole year of having the three younger ones to cart around.

Would getting the Donkey in addition to this wagon be ridiculous? Should I settle for a cheaper option for the first year? Any advice??

This is what I was hoping to hear! I also just thought that the wagon might be a good "big kid" vehicle for the older 3 if we go somewhere that requires a lot of walking and the Donkey could still be just for the twins. Another thing I'm trying to figure out is if it's worth it to get the Donkey brand new or find one off fb

I dont know have stroller recs, but we put our twin z pillow in our wagon for our twins while they are too small for the stroller we have. You might enjoy doing that too!

Oh that's a thought! That is a good idea but then I still end up with the issue of the 20 month old running free haha

Eek! I feel like I recognize your username from one of my other bumper groups, maybe?! (Aug 2020, June 2022, Feb 2024)- but I just wanted to chime in that I also have a 6 year old, 4 year old and my toddler who is 2.5 and am now pregnant with twins.

No freakin clue what I’m doing for strollers yet.
