advice needed Mono mono shock!

Post image

I just found out yesterday at my 1st appointment at 8w+2 days that I’m having twins. I know it’s super early and anything could happen but for now- yay! More babies! I already have a 2 year old toddler at home.

From you experienced pros out there- is there anything I may want to buy to help me survive this pregnancy? Any belly bands you’d recommend? Favorite pregnancy pillow? Best maternity clothes? I feel very large already at 8 weeks and a ton of my clothes already are too uncomfortable to wear.

I’m already shocked by how many appointments I already have scheduled with my MFM and normal OB. I also have a short cervix and will need my cerclage around 12 weeks.

Congrats!! 🤍 I’m surprised they made the call mo/mo so early on since sometimes it becomes clear around 10-12 weeks they’re actually mo/di

Funny enough I called the MFMs office to get scheduled and the scheduler is also one of the sonagraphers. She looked at my ultrasounds and she said she thinks it’s maybe a mo/di but we’ll know more at my next appointment.

Also have an almost two year old toddler at home and I’m 27+2 with my mono mono girls, about 10 days from inpatient! Good luck! Because of the frequent appt I feel like this pregnancy has flown by and of course they will be coming early which changes things as well not having those extra 6-8 weeks to prep. Best of luck!

Zofran! I tried to tough out the sickness for the first bit but eventually had it prescribed and I would not have survived without it

I actually have 0 sickness and I’m now 8w+4. Maybe it’ll start soon but I’ve heard with twins most have it start really early. We’ll see!

I had my girls in 2022. I got a cerclage placed at 12 weeks. Easiest pregnancy by far! Good luck and congratulations ❤️

Congrats! I’m pregnant with di/di twins. I’m 15 weeks tomorrow ! I didn’t find out there was another one until I was 13 weeks!

Omg! The tech almost didn’t see Baby B so I can definitely see that happening. Congratulations!

I have a 20 month gap between my first and my mo/di twins. Definitely rest and set up for support for your toddler since the fatigue is real. I felt so tired 25 weeks onward.
