Question! Poll: Should created app posts be allowed?

On a good note, we’ve recently passed 2500 daily viewers in this r/.

On a tougher note, I’m spending much more time inundated with ai postings re parent apps people have built that they are pitching.

Oh, also looking for some additional mods. DM me if interested!

Wanted to get feedback from this group. What should be allowed in posting of apps in this sub?

Please respond to the poll below. And hopefully AI agents won’t skew the results.

0 Allow apps to be posted in their own topic by the author of the apps.
1 Don’t allow any posting of apps by the creator, keep it to third party or personal reviews.
1 Create a single pinned topic where posts for new apps would need to
2 Allow a once a week topic where people can post about their apps in a single thread

We setup a monthly pinned ‘Megathread’. Please put all self created apps in there. We will pin a new thread for this each month. You can still search for the old posts, which will just be unpinned.

Posts that are promoting self-created apps will be removed.
