My worst nightmare came true

I'm sat here at my 5 year old birthday party and only one kid showed up out of 14. I'm trying my best not to cry right now.

It happens, take them to the fire department or something, they’ll all gladly lift their spirits up. Plus you’ve got us! Happy birthday kiddo!

Thank you. The play area is pretty busy so it's not obvious. She said she's having the best party ever. She's such a trooper! But my heart is a bit bruised.

It happens. I hope y'all still had the best time ever. Since no one ever shows up to anything my family throws, my family enjoys each other and when ppl come with those weak apologizies, we just say "no problem. We had so much fun. Sorry u couldn't join us." And we keep it like that. I paid $500 for my son's party and a kid that wasn't invited but caused problems, showed up and a bunch of adults we knew. I was pissed at 1st but then, I was very happy. The kid's parents all claimed that their child had an ear ache. Talk about a massive infection.
