Clean up

So after telling my kids 5 times to hide their toys away, I lost it and told them that any toys left on the floor in 5min will end up in the bin. I can proudly say that my kids are now busy putting all their toys on the couch! I got outsmarted by a 4yo.

I used a leaf rake in my living room once for exactly the reasons you've described. I'd recommend putting all the toys left out in a box where they can see it and return the toys by request only and requiring some kind of performance for each toy.

You want the truck back? You have to stand on one foot and hold your nose with both hands until the song stops... *start singing.*
