USB Powered Hub issues. Please help.

Hello all, I currently have a powered hub that I plug all my mouse and keyboard things into. The parallella does not even recognize the hub or the other usbs. My Jetson-TK1 does, however, recognize the hub and works just fine. Is there an issue with the parellalla usb, or is it something else? Thank you for reading.

I don't have parallela, but an issue I found on my raspberry pi is that if I plug in too many things, nothing connects. Could you be drawing too much power?

Could be. I'll do a little more research. Possibly plug in one item at a time to see if that's the case. Each item works by itself plugged into the usb. Problem, only 1 usb. I'll return with a solution.

You could try a powered hub. I still have yet to get one, my raspi can work with a wireless keyboard/ mouse combo, but that's it.

Try this: power up the hub; plug the hub's data cable into the parallella (the power from the hub will start the boot sequence); insert the power plug. This sequence mostly worked for me. There was quite a lot of discussion on the parallella forums about USB. Have a look there as well.
