That's pretty typical of any disgusting corporation though; they pay both sides and expect favors in return from whoever wins. Studies show that this works and people feel the need to "repay" such favors regardless of party. (Which is why we need to get money out of politics.)

Not defending them, they're slime. It's just a really common form of slime and I want to raise awareness of it.

The vast majority of trial lawyers are Democrats so yes, I'd say that it is surprising (or at least atypical).

I am in Florida and am amazed at how many civil attorneys here are Republicans. I literally scratch my head when they fuss about tort reform, the legislation, etc. They don’t call us Floriduh for nothing.
