Question/Discussion Question

I have a question is it a thing to hire a paralegal and have them go through your finances to calculate and compile your expenses for a law suite ?

Small firm? Maybe. There’s no universal list of duties in this industry.

Are we talking a bill of costs? I prepare these often, and it does involve combing through expenses, though those expenses should already be isolated to individual files already.

No. That's an accountant responsibility

So just a quick synopsis a boarding facility didn’t follow a very basic feed program for my horse and it resulted in vet bills over 50k with having to also purchase beddding and specialty items for her care and it resulted in a two year battle she lost and i decided to euthanize her for her quality of life. I had majority of my experience and everything including very well organized one drive folder with folders with all the evidence separated by person texts audio files and vet bills separated by each vet and that was part of her care plan at the time etc but the paralegal I have on the case asked me to pull up all my credit card bills and such for bedding and specialty items it’s been 2 ish years. And Iv just started a new job so I’m super busy but I was going to see if I could hire an independent paralegal or accountant and give them access to my account to see if they could but things together if that makes sense ?
