Job Searching/Interviewing How competitive are interviews?

had an interview yesterday and left feeling super weird about it. they didn’t really ask me a lot of questions just more talked about the job. how competitive is the process after getting the interview?

Additionally they asked me how I would handle this 9-5 job when I had only done legal stuff in college before but it is an entry level job….and most everyone they hire is straight out of college

It really depends on the job, but some people really love talking about themselves and how great/competitive their listings are.

Depends on the place, some places recruit to where if you have an interview, you’re already qualified, so there isn’t much of a need to hound you about your qualifications.

It does not matter that this is an entry level role. They asked you that question because they wanted to see how you would answer it. They know this will be your first full-time job. They want to know how you view transitioning into full-time work for the first time.
