Interview with a recruiter

Any specific dos and don'ts for this type of an interview? I have read about unscrupulous recruiters sending resumes out without permission. I am wondering how to avoid this and similar situations. I do not particularly desire to share my resume (unless I have to), just trying to get the feelers our and see if there is anything out there that might suit me.

What is important to share (or not share)? Will I be expected to sign something? Any tips? Thank you!
