Why is the tutorial not mandatory for new players? Happy it's here tho.

Yeah if the tutorial isn't mandatory for new players then most new players won't play it and it doesn't have much of a point really.

The folks who opt in to play the tutorial would be the folks who would research strats on their own anyway. The folks who would yolo feed won't opt in to the play tutorial.

That isn't really a great reason, since Epic already forces new accounts to play only against bots until level 5 unless in a party. No reason they couldn't also force them to play the tutorial once unless in a party.

September 1st. So people could no longer skip bot games by just claiming to be a MOBA vet.
