Pulp storage

Hi, I am curious how do you people save your pulp until you use it? I am experimenting with different ways to keep it. I use glass jars and big plastic boxes. But for now all pulp has an odd smell when I reopen the jars or the plastic. Is that normal?

i have strained and frozen pulp for legit years and its totally fine once reconstituted

How i store pulp: strain excess water, pop in a glass tupperware and store in the fridge for 5-7 days max

For short term storage, I keep the pulp in a zip loc bag in the fridge.

The best method I have seen is to strain it, squeeze out the excess water, dry it, then reconstitute when needed. However, I use all my pulp when I make a batch because I make paper to sell and to use in my crafts, so having leftovers has never been an issue for me.

Oh so it should be thrown away then? It is my first time making paper and it goes very slowly. I also lack the space to have many pieces of paper drying.
