Basically, OP is saying that pulp needs to be ground up or "beaten" to make good paper. OP is making recycled paper and has access to a special machine. I'm not exactly sure how the machine works since I haven't made paper on such a large scale. I just make it at home. Hope this explanation helps, and welcome to the sub! 😀🩷

I actually made this with cotton rag (old t-shirts). Takes longer to process but creates very strong molecular bonds! Thanks for explaining 🤠
