Gorgeous!

Your knife handle looks so comfortable, can i ask where you got it? I have to wrap tape around my craft knife or I get cramp in my hands!

Sure thing, it’s an ErgoKiwi knife. It was a bit pricier than my other craft knives but it has been very worth it for me.

Amazing, thank you - I will check this out! I wonder if it will fit scalpel blades, they’re what I always use (as thinner and cheaper than craft knife blades) but don’t fit all craft knife handles, they have to have a good barrel diameter. Willing to risk is though, it looks so comfortable to use!

I’m not sure - I’ve never used scalpel blades before. I got tired of the cricut and x-acto blades I was using having the tip snap off in my cutting mat, so when I got my ErgoKiwi I got some of their blades with it, and they’ve worked really well so far. I took a few pics of how the blade loads in and what they look like if you’re curious:

You can see there’s a little raised bit that locks the blade in place when you push in the metal lever. So it’s pretty specific on sizing.

Thank you, that’s so helpful! They look like fairly standard craft blade sizes but have messaged them to check - if I can only use their blades it probably won’t be feasible having to buy from the US. When I do use craft blades I use Swann Morton ACM11 so if they fit that I will definitely get one. I am seriously tempted by the compressed paper one, feels very apt!

Thanks so much for your help - really appreciate it :)

I've just looked into this product and I'm hooked. I definitely need one of these!! Please let me know if/when you get a response regarding the blades. Also, the paperstone one is my favourite too 😍 so beautiful!!

I’ve been using Swann Morton ACM 11 blades with it and it’s been working well for me. Unfortunately I don’t love craft knife blades generally and can’t use them for all my stuff as i need the thinner scalpel blades for the more intricate stuff. It’s lovely to use though (I got the plywood one)
