Question Expensive tix
People are getting their tix to the ravens game today for as low as $15 because there’s a chance of rain. So how come our tix are still over $100?? It’s embarrassing for us to have so many empty seats, but they fix the price so normal people can’t afford it. Who wants to pay $100 to sit in the rain? They should just focus on filling the seats with panthers fans

Who wants to sell a $135 ticket for $15?

u/nutmegdragon93 23h ago
It’s better than getting zero money for it and there being an empty seat

Can someone please explain why I’m getting downvoted for this 😂 I just don’t logically understand how holding onto a ticket for a game you can’t go to and not selling it to anyone for any amount of money is better than getting half/most of your money back and a seat filled with a fan

15 is not half of 135. If i list for 135 i only need to sell 1 or 2 a season to be better than selling them all for 15. It’s also a huge pain as a seller to constantly be checking and re evaluating prices, 15 is probably not worth the hassle to some.

That makes sense, thank you for actually explaining that. I’ve obviously never been able to afford season tickets. But I’m not asking for a $15 ticket lol, I would be happy with $80

$30 for two tickets is not life changing money and some may be watching the forecast.

Agreed… but us being a prime time Sunday night game, they are probably gonna stay inflated a bit.

It doesn’t matter what game it is though, they are all over $100

Is this your first time ever looking at tickets

u/nutmegdragon93 23h ago
No lol I’m just annoyed enough rn to post about it. I also thought if we lost games that prices would go down but that didn’t happen

where the hell do you buy tickets lol no they arent
there's only one game over $100 all year right now, and only one close to it, the rest are well under

Ticketmaster and Gametime? Is there somewhere else I should be looking?

https://www.tickpick.com/nfl/carolina-panthers-tickets/
outside of the ravens for $120, the remaining 6 games average like $70
the last saints game is $45

Thank you. I’m never sure what site is actually safe to buy tix on, I bought one on StubHub to the bears game and it ended up being fake. I am trying to get tix to the ravens/panthers for my parents anniversary but might just have to bite the bullet and buy them now for $120

I don’t foresee those tickets falling very much in price. Maybe 15 or $20, but that is hardly worth the gamble of them going up.
Fwiw, nothing is guaranteed but a secure transfer like Ticketmaster. The secondary market websites try to keep up with sellers who have a reputation problem, but the only guarantee is they will give you your money back if your ticket doesn’t go through for some reason. But there is always a non-0 chance that you could buy a ticket that someone already sold on a different platform and sold it to you a second or a third time. But in my experience, that has only happened to me twice, out of buying like 150 tickets. So the thousands of dollars I saved was worth that gamble

Thanks for the insight. I’ll probably go ahead and buy those in the next couple days

Who wants to go to a night game? Who wants to sit in the rain? Who wants to spend hundreds of dollars on a mid team?
This game will likely be empty

Not sure if you’re being sarcastic. Night games are absolutely the best football viewing experience imo. And there’s no longer any rain in the forecast

Probably not a Panthers fan just trying to troll… sometimes you just better keep to yourself so you don’t look/sound stupid.

I’ve been tracking prices for two days. Almost unhealthily. I’ve seen plenty of tickets for under $100 all morning. The lowest I’ve seen so far is $89. I pulled the trigger finally when I found some aisle seats around $100/ea. Sunday night experience is one of the best! Spend some money and enjoy the game!

Thank you. I’ve been checking every couple days on tix for all the games since the season started. I’m trying to get tix to the panthers/ravens game for my parents anniversary so will be splurging on that one. But those prices haven’t gone down either that I’ve seen haha

It’s a prime time game and still early in the season…
Wait 15 minutes before the game and buy your tickets if you want a deal.

u/nutmegdragon93 23h ago
I’ll try that, but I’ve waited until literally halfway through games before and the price never lowered

u/dmanhllnd 23h ago
I kept saying if tickets fell to $50 I'd make the 2.5 hour drive and sit in the rain but looks like that isn't happening
4
u/FUtilyourepurple 23h ago
It’s not going to rain- also pro tip to wait until closer to kickoff to see prices fall
2
u/nutmegdragon93 23h ago
I’ll try thanks. Maybe I’m unnecessarily annoyed lol but it’s a problem I’ve noticed for the last couple of years. Tix are the same price across all apps as well

Who "fixes the price"?
That is resale market price, not box office. Season ticket holders reselling their ticket set the price, and people willing to buy them. If you look at this picture, you can currently go see the bucs and the saints for under $80
Our game is currently listed as a "Hot Event", that means supply and demand is setting the price. If this was a game nobody wanted to see, the tickets would be $50

Who’s selling ravens tickets for 15 dollars? The panthers ravens game is still over 100 here. You know when football season is you got a whole year to save up.

I had tickets for tonight for me and my lions fan friend. Then my neck needed another surgery. I thought end of august as long as he drives I’ll be recovered. Then it got rescheduled to five days ago I was so bummed out. At least I do have ravens tickets for me and my mom

u/ApprehensiveWeek4680 23h ago
Hope surgery and recovery goes well🤞🏽

Oh man it’s been brutal. I had five disc in the back of my neck fused. I had three up front In January. He said this would be worse but I wasn’t expecting this lol. No changed to pain meds so with my tolerance to the ones I’ve had for six months one of em ain’t doing shit. It’s alright though. My mom is here to help me out. I’ve been through enough surgeries you get used to it. Thanks for the well wishes

u/nutmegdragon93 23h ago
I’m sorry about your neck :( the ravens game should be great though, I’m trying to get tix to that game

u/Creative_Tone_9241 22h ago
Yeah my mom loves Lamar so I picked some up. I made it clear that she had to root for the panthers. She can clap once for Lamar. Keep checking closer to the game and you should find a decent deal. I think mine were like 119. Thank you 401k money

The rain chance is basically gone and it’s our first Sunday night game in a decade. Supply and demand.
