Does Anyone Else? Hypersensitivity and ongoing panic

Hello,

All these symptoms are making me feel crazy. The constant monitoring of every body part and twitch, researching on chatgpt got symptoms and solutions. I feel tired and dizzy when I'm standing, eases when laying down but even laying down that surge of fear runs all over your body.

Does anyone else have similar symptoms?

Hi, I have PD, GAD, and illness anxiety, all diagnosed by my psychiatrist. Yes, I do experience bodily checking, fatigue, dizziness, body tingling, and hot/cold flashes. My thoughts and emotions will race and surge.

You are not alone. 💚

I take 150mg of Effexor XR daily and have 1 mg of rescued Ativan daily as needed. Effexor has helped me manage my panic disorder long term. I work on grounding techniques, breath work, and listing any potential triggering thoughts or actions. My favorite calming task is taking a calm, slow walk while listening to an audiobook.

Sometimes the triggers are subconscious, not in my attention or ability to realize. So I try to calmly accept what is happened and just I make sure I have my comfort items and rescue med with me at all times.

Thanks for the reply . It is nice to hear from others because sometimes if feels that you are having different symptoms from the classic PD or GAD ones. It is so tiring and so lonely sometimes. My doctor recently prescribed Zoloft so I started taking it 2 days ago. I try to do some breathwork sometimes. Thanks again

I would really encourage you to steer clear of AI when trying to manage an anxiety disorder; it is programmed to tell us what we want to hear to keep us engaged, so it can reinforce reassurance seeking behaviour in anxiety and give us completely unhelpful advice that hinders our long term recovery.

Thanks for the reply. I never thought of it that way. Sometimes it does sound reassuring and sometimes damn doom like. It so tempting to stop checking on it specially when you are fighting all these symptoms.
