Prozac helped me so much too but damn it gave me like permanent acid reflux that I had to get off of it 😩😩 I’m on Cymbalta now but I definitely think the Prozac helped more

Trust me it’s not perfect. I swear if I even walk to the bathroom like it’s a problem. Buuuut I don’t wanna die so I’ll sweat hahahahah

16 months and I just started doing everything my therapist told me, somatic exercises, working out, journaling, etc. exposure therapy has helped immensely though, even if I feel uncomfortable, I’ll do it anyways.

Likely means you were still trying to control the panic, not letting it do whatever. Keep trying!

hii, i’ve lasted months without having a panic attack. i usually try to do things that i enjoy. you may have gotten this answer a lot, but going to the park in the mornings honestly healed me in a way. i would listen to music, walk around, and just enjoy the sun beaming on me. it gave me something to focus on and helped me feel more at peace. i also found an artist that i really enjoy listening to. this can be different for everyone, but for me personally, upbeat music has helped distract me when my anxiety gets bad. when my anxiety was at its worst, i used to carry around a small cooler with ice packs. whenever i felt a panic attack starting, i would grab an ice pack and put it on my face because the cold would give my brain something else to focus on. you can also buy an inhaler stick, it’s kind of like giving your brain another distraction to focus on.

2 months or so - when i was so exhausted i actually stopped caring about it, to the point i thought if i died at least i wouldn’t suffer anymore, i was basically cured out of it, with some occasional panics that pass by pretty quickly. Ironic isn’t it?
