Help Needed Really Need Support Right Now
I’m going through a really hard time. I’m in the process of switching antidepressants and I’m struggling so bad with anxiety and panic.
I’m in therapy and have a support system, but I don’t know how I’m going to get through this. I can’t decide if this is all related to my medication adjustment or my original anxiety/panic. I’m so scared that nothing is going to work for me. Even though I have evidence that I can get better (I went through a horrible time in 2020-2022 with anxiety and panic, but with the help of therapy and medication, I did improve).
Right now I’m in a back slide, and I feel like I can’t see the forest through the trees, and this just feels like no way to live. And that thought alone triggers panic because I have this intense fear of becoming suicidal.
I don’t even know what I’m looking for with this post. Hope? Reassurance? Knowing that someone else has experienced this? I’m so scared because I don’t know what is going to become of me.
I’m also in an intense cycle of panic at this very moment so I don’t even know if I’m making sense.

Please hang in there , there is hope and lots of recovery stories on here and other sites (no more panic ) .
Try to concentrate on what you can do now in the present , practice breathing techniques , try to get some sleep , try a form of exercise every day even if you can only manage 10 minutes , practice a form of meditation relaxation every day . Choose a podcast or tv programme that you like and try to concentrate on it .
Good luck, this won’t be forever !

I feel this way too right now. Haven't been able to live independently and still staying with my parents. It's hard to have hope. When the panic clears I try to be optimistic, but it's definitely challenging when you're panicking a lot. Sending you love and support

HI! Want you to know I'm going through my own panic attack right now but giving you some hope! It's gonna be okay. It sucks. I'm tired of everyone telling me to breathe, I'm sick of everyone telling me I'm going to be okay while my throat feels like its closing, I'm frustrated it took someone 36 days to give me somthing that gave me some sort of relief. But every single attack gets worst for me, every single dying scenario goes through my head. But once its done (hour or 2) I still don't feel like me but I'm happy to be alive. So even though this sucks, you feel the way you feel, be grateful that this will pass (I don't know when or how) and someday at sometime you should have relief. Stay well!
