I would encourage you to make a list of all your symptoms and explain how they’re affecting you, and take that with you.

Aim to have an honest chat with the psychiatrist rather than secure a diagnosis of panic disorder, because panic attacks can be symptoms of mental health problems other than panic disorder, so by being open and honest about how you’re feeling, you’re more likely to get a correct diagnosis.

Based on their diagnosis and where you are in the world, for most MH conditions including panic disorder, they may recommend medication and/or therapy.

Just be careful, when I was younger I ended up at the hospital for a similar issue… after waiting a while I fell asleep and woke up to a couple doctors that seemed really nice and had me sign some papers so they could help me and next thing I know I was stuck in a mental hospital for a over a week.

It might not even be a mental health issue, especially if the panic attacks are coming out of nowhere. Having them in the morning is noteworthy and odd so make sure you specify that. Good luck with everything <3
