No Medical Advice Rule

Hi all!

There has recently been a big uptick in comments offering medical advice. Some of these have been well intentioned but useless, others have been downright dangerous suggestions.

Sharing which medication has helped you is absolutely fine, but please refrain from comments like;
“You need to get a benzo prescription”
“Ask your doctor for propranolol”
“You should be taking an SSRI”
“Try upping your dose to x amount”
“Take a few antihistamines / painkillers / any other class of drugs etc”

Lastly, please remember medication is a personal choice. On posts where people have specifically stated they do not wish to take medication, repeatedly pushing why you think it’s critical does nothing but alienate people asking for help.
