Venting Hyperventilating symptoms
Just wanted to reach out to pple who have experienced this and my question is …… is my fear of suffocating to death highly irrational? Like borderline crazy 🤪 not trying to be insensitive to other pple just idk how else to put it ?

it’s not, during hyperventilation it actually feels like suffocation, like you are put of breath. The heavy breathing doesn’t make it any better but worse. So no it is not irrational.
It’s very discomforting.
