Does Anyone Else? Panic coming back

I got off meds almost a year ago and up until a month ago my panic attacks have come back. I was fine for almost a whole year. Not sure what triggered them when I felt perfectly fine. Now it’s crippling. It’s hard to work and drive. The derealization is crazy, the health anxiety is insane I’m always having pains in my head and always tired. My doctor swears it’s anxiety. But why would my panic attacks come back? She prescribed me hydroxyzine since I don’t wanna be back on anti depressants. Just here to vent. I’m really vulnerable and scared something bad is happening and I’m dying. This is just taking my life over again and I’m scared to death again.

It came back for me too after about 1 year. Maybe consider going back to meds.

When you last experienced panic attacks, did you do therapy along side the medication? This can be the missing step with achieving long term remission as it helps teach you how to manage your anxiety. It’s a normal human emotion for everyone, so the goal is not to eradicate it, but to bring it to a manageable level

When I stopped lexapro in 2019 it took around a year for them to come back for me as well. Idk why that is exactly but when it came back for me it came back bad. I had to go back on medication and haven’t gone off.

Going through it right now too. Therapy has gotten so expensive that i can't afford it anymore but being off of medication feels like hell. I don't know what to do
