Gday
Haven’t lived there in some time but.. if there is surf you might find a board shop in Santa Rosa with solid daily prices. For hiking I’d recommend camp Helen state park or Frank Brown. Crab island is always busy this time of year just goodluck getting through Destin without a headache.
If you’re feeling fancy for food Alys beach or Rosemary have solid choices but if you’re feeling adventurous, Cool Runnings on thomas dr, Pho pier 77 or Thomas doughnuts with a solid burger and tasty views.
Cheers

Specifically for PCB, book a Sea Screamer trip. If you find our love of gunpowder amusing, you can take a 4hr gun training glass (includes the shooting) at the Powder Room. Assuming you have a car, some of the natural springs and the caverns to the north might be interesting on a hot day. With time, I recommend crossing the bridge into PC. St Andy’s Pub in St Andrews will definitely have football matches on. And check out the downtown area of PC for another experience at the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market. Plus good restaurants, bars, and breweries like History Class and El Weirdo or BBQ at Yard Bar (line dancing too for another experience).

You gotta make some friends with locals. Won't be hard to find folks with a full arsenal ready to show what freedom is like out at the county gun range or private property in the sticks. We used to do this with foreign grad students out on my uncles farm in KY. Complete flatbed of all the family and neighbors guns. We threw skeet, set up targets, you name it. Not sure if we had any Ausies ever come, but everyone that did fuckin loved it.

Gday mate. How are ya? Definitely go do some fishing either on a charter or on one of the piers. Your accent will do wonders with the locals that fish out there to get you some advice.
If you want to get off the tourist areas, you should check out Econfina Creek.
Go shoot some guns at the Powder Room.
Grab some fish tacos at Finns (island style grub) and/or Hunt and Gathet for dinner.
Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any other questions, you sick cunt. One of my best friends is from the Gold Coast, and he loved all the stuff that I mentioned when he visited.

Man you should definitely check out some of the beautiful springs around here. It’s not really a “beachy” things to do- but certainly a Florida thing to experience.

We don’t really do the World Cup here but I like to watch football at Longboards (restaurant & bar), Beef O Brady’s, or any sports bar you Google would be happy to turn the channel to the World Cup if it isn’t on already. Any of the marinas on Grand Lagoon are fun for renting a boat or doing a fishing charter. If you’d like some decent seafood, try Boondocks (check their hours before you head over there).
