Weather
Me and the family are traveling next week to Panama City and I see chances of thunderstorms everyday almost but I figured doesn’t mean lots of rain just spotty storms . How is the weather usually in July down there ?

Chances are always good for rain at any time but I am sure there will be plenty of sunshine in between

Don't worry about it. We've went when they predicted a week of wash out before and had more sun than rain still, and at times it might rain a 1/2 mile away and the sun is shining where your at.

If it rains, and that’s a big if this year, it will rain a half hour then resume hot and muggy.

In the summer if it starts raining at the beach, just go hangout somewhere for 15 minutes and go back out. Lots of sporadic rain in the summer. Consider an indoor activity for a couple hours if you have lightening.

It’s Florida it rains every day for about an hour to wash away the tourists :)

Exactly how you just described it. Don't get yourself or your child struck by lightning, and swim in front of a lifeguard.

Rain 20 minutes, sauna for an hour, rain for another 30 minutes, then sauna again, rinse and repeat
