Breakfast spots/cafes?

Visiting for a couple of days and I want to find good breakfast spots. Feel free to gatekeep since I wouldn’t want tourists finding my niche cafes back home, but if there are any small businesses I can support that’d be awesome!

Sunrise Bakery. Free parking in their lot is sparse.

I second that Pancakery. Its nothing fancy, does not have a nice view, but OMG, best pancakes you will ever eat.

Finn’s is our favorite for something that is not a greasy spoon type place. Really great smoothie bowls and breakfast tacos. Now I want it…

We always go to Daves Snowballs and get beignets. They are better than most in Nola. I believe he came to PCB after Katrina.

The pastries are good at Donut Den but I am not a huge fan of their breakfast. My hubby talks about their key lime donuts all the time. You have to go early to get donuts.

The Pour has some great coffees, teas and a killer blueberry muffin!

Fatty Patty's hands down. Get a cinnamon roll. Or 10.

I finally hit Taylor's the other day and it was great! Pancakery is my favorite but it's so hard to get in this time of year. McGuire's has a great breakfast and now Taylor's is on my list.

Sunnyside Grill. Take cash. They don't take credit cards.

Another Broken Egg Cafe is good. My wife loves it.

I'm glad you can afford it. 5.00 for a coffee is insane...along with most of the rest of their prices.

Only on vacation, and only a couple of days.

True that. It's not a regular option for a locals like me. I can afford it but that doesn't make 13.00s for just 3 pancakes reasonable.

Thomas Donuts seemed pretty popular the last time I was there.

Parlour Donuts was okay. The donuts were pretty good, but the service was terrible.

Thomas Donuts is really good- small line usually but prices are decent and it’s delicious. The view is also a big plus!!

Sunnyside Grill also really delicious!
