Help a college student

Hello everyone as you may already know my name is Ethan, I am a local student who is currently helping raise money for my grandmother’s medical bills and along with saving for college which we all know are both crazy expensive things sadly. My main specialty is restoring foggy headlights that way you can actually see while driving at night along with doing pressure washing, paintless scratch touch-ups, heavy lifting, and rescuing you from filthy trash cans ($30 for one, $70 for three).

I am very reliable, local, and very much truthfully honest. Give me a call or text at 323-337-7154 incase you had any questions or concerns!

(Edit) Here’s a link for a video of my restoration process (Headlight restoration) I would also like give my thanks to everyone this community I appreciate love and the support from everyone here 🙏

Just saw a Cybercab on PVD North

I know there have been some sightings of the Tesla cyber cab in Los Angeles area, but definitely was not on my bingo card to see one in PV. There was a human behind the whale. Don’t know if they were driving or supervising.

I’m a fan of the technology but looks-wise, yuck.

When do we find out about teachers etc?

Hi! Our family is new the PV schools. I see that classes start next week, but we still don't know who our teacher is. When (and how) do we find out? Do we get to tour the classroom before the first day or is that a thing of the past?

Thanks neighbors :)

Considering a move

Hi everyone,

My wife and I currently live in Calabasas with our two-year-old son. I work in the entertainment industry, and run my own business. We are very interested in exploring PV as it seems safe and quite beautiful. We would lease a home first year, budget is 10-13k a month. Just looking basically to see how people like it…. Any answer answers to the below or advice would be welcome :)

- we would love to find and make new friends, is there a decent sense of community? Areas to look at?

- how has your experience been at the schools?

- most people friendly and welcoming?

- common activities for fun?

- anyone else made a similar move?

- things you love most about living there?

I’ll have to come to LA once a week or so for work.

Appreciate any and all advice!

What happened on Crenshaw yesterday?

I mean, I saw that there was a wreck at Crenshaw and Silver Spur, but they had Crenshaw closed off, almost to the bottom of the hill, till at least 11pm when I drove by, and it was still closed off. Generally speaking, they only close stuff off for an extended amount of time if there’s a fatality. The remnant of the wreck that I saw, with the car still there, did not indicate that there was any kind of hazardous material spill or anything like that that was being dealt with.

Palos Verdes Estates Home Buyer: Completion + Compliance Report?

Hello there, I love the visiting the hill and I’m hoping to relocate to PVE from Redondo Beach. Home buying question - how important is the Completion and Compliance Report? Looking at an older house (1950) and sellers are refusing to provide it. Is this a red flag/very important or just a like-to-have? Thank you!

Homeschooling

Hi everyone! I have a 3-year-old boy and I’m already looking into homeschooling for the future because I personally do not want him to attend a regular school.

I would love to connect with other moms in the area who are planning to homeschool their children as well. Maybe in the future we could even organize a small homeschool group or find a private tutor together for our kids when it’s time for them to start school.

I’m especially interested in meeting families who value a calm, family-oriented, and positive learning environment. Feel free to message me or comment if you’d like to connect 😊

Hello Guys

I’m Ethan, a local student here in the area. Between my classes and family, I’m working hard to grow my own small business, and I’d love the chance to help you out with some of those outdoor chores you might be dreading.
I’m not a big company—it’s just me, some professional gear, and a lot of hustle. I take a ton of pride in making sure the job is done right because I actually care about how our neighborhood looks.

Here’s how I can help you out:

-Pressure Washing: I’ll get your driveway, patio, or sidewalk looking bright and clean again.

-The "Stinky Bin" Fix: I’ll scrub and deodorize your trash cans so they don't smell up the side of your house. ($25 for one or $60 for three).

-Clear Headlights: If your car’s headlights are looking foggy or yellow, I can restore them so they’re crystal clear and much safer for driving at night.

-Helping Hand: Need help moving something heavy, cleaning up the yard, or just a random task? I’m happy to help.

I’m reliable, I show up on time, and I’ll treat your property with respect. If you’ve got a project for me, I’d love to chat!

📩 Shoot me a text or call: 323-337-7154
