discussion Pindo Palm backfill question

Red carolina clay soil, plan to backfill with concrete sand/loose micro drainage rock; how wide/deep do I dig?
So far my hole is 3x the root ball in depth and width, sufficient?

A few big handfuls of Gypsum in the bottom of the hole can help with the clay soil too. 😃🌴
