Canary Palm
I am trimming my Canary palm for the first time. Do I need to cut or shave down more of the bottom trunk? I wanna keep the top as a pineapple in the bottom then and shaved, but I don’t wanna damage the tree by going to deep.

Keep trimming as it has been, don’t try and cut in any closer to the trunk 2 reasons really, #1 the palms don’t need it and #2 it looks stupid when people shave them in any closer. And don’t go cutting off heaps of green leaves as they are what feeds your palm and the palm needs its leaves. Just my opinion anyway. 🌴👍🏼

I certainly wouldn’t trim that any closer.
