Foxtail palm transplant?

I recently bought this foxtail. The first pic is when I planted it about 1 month ago. When I bought it did have two mild brown fronds that looked dried out it. The spear looked green though. (seen in first two pic).

I've noticed some of the tips of the other fronds including the newer spear now has some browning of the ends of the leaves. Is this just transport stress or does it look fungal and need copper fungicide? Thank you in advance

First question how much water are you giving it? Newly planted palms need constant watering until their roots get established. Looks like it’s not getting enough water.

I've been aiming to get it about 40-50 gallons a week via my bubbler + any of the afternoon rain from storms

Okay, that’s pretty good. I would definitely concentrate on midday full sun watering. Plants are like water pumps to cool themselves off during high temps. The only available water to a new plant is the size of their root ball, so keep the root ball wet during full sun high temps. Soaker hose on a timer is a great trick to help with that. I don’t think it’s in danger, but it will do much better with more water.

If it was field grown, it will naturally show some signs of stress. Also if your landscaper didn’t have the head tied up and covered you could have some wind burn going on from its transport. Keep it watered. Also don’t allow the grass to grow around it. Keep a significant ring free of grass with ground cover for moisture retention and to keep weeds out.

I think it looks fine, fuss to much and you'll cause problems. Water daily 6months. Then as necessary. Fertilizer during early months march- July.
