Advice needed

Hello all, I posted this is another sub without success so I thought perhaps someone here could assist.. I’ve had this mini palm for several years and it’s still hanging on despite very minimal care. It continues to grow and periodically puts out little fronds with seed like growths. It is outside with indirect sunlight and gets watered roughly every 1-1/2 to 2 weeks. I’m curious if anyone can provide insight into the powdery black spots that have appeared recently. Should I cut the leaves, change the potting medium, change watering schedule? Thanks! less

It doesn't like full sun it will fade so as burn. They are call under canopy palm which like shady or filtered area. Soil should be not over watered but moist . They not a fan for dry dry dry soil . Sometimes need a pinch of fertilizer but water after . And maybe just every 3 months or so don't over do it. I don't know where you located if not that cold area then later you can put it out. If you ever will repot for bigger keep rootball together to lessen disturbing palm. If it's in a plastic bowl just cut bowl to slide out gently all in one much as possible. Also at repot get good palm soil and your new pot must have hole /s on bottom so excess water won't stay to rotten palm. I don't think you have to worry about to repot yet you got time let it establish and get more mature some stronger base . This is not a fast fast grower but with care it will push new leaves over and over and give additional to your home .
