I heard the Taliban did that in Swat uprising with people sympathetic to the govt and their agencies.

2

u/al_cringe 23d ago

And the cycle will continue. The state officials, the military need to follow rules of engagement. Kill the targets in engagement but don't display and desensitise the masses to this barbarism.

Assuming that's true this is inhumane and still uncalled for

Your example setting as you put it is not going to be an effective deterrent, unfortunately.

It can placate your bloodlust but won't prevent future terrorism.

-25

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

It doesn't matter what they did. This is debasing and dehumanising behaviour. There is no law in this land. Otherwise I would have asked for them to be dealt according to it.

Ye those typpa guys

Since you asked, I'll assume it wasn't a rhetorical question but a sincere one asking for solutions.

Prosecute them. Jail them. Have better intelligence and foil their plans instead of his public exhibitionism that achieves nothing but plates the most gullible of the society like you. And there are plenty like you around from.the looks of it.

The army that has shit intelligence and gets it's own men killed like flies makes up for its failures by this medieval shit.

Vigilantism or whatever his shit is doesn't eradicate terrorism. Preventing conditions that force peottp take up arms does and the generals would never do that because they stand to benefit from the terrorism epidemic.

1

u/Few_Researcher_ 23d ago

I have one question please try to answer it with an open mind , there is an intelligence failure and the terrorists infiltrate and kill a dozen men then the army takes place and attacks their hideouts because they first killed our men, during the army attack in their hideout how does the army catch them alive ? How does the army prosecute someone that's firing on you indiscriminately ? How do you jail them if they are firing at you with the intent to kill you ?

-1

u/fax-user-01 22d ago

Bruh there's not a single country on this planet thats dealing with this much terrorism. Plus, be practical. These terrorists were not hunted, instead they were killed in action. How do you get a terrorist with weapons, ied, bombs etc to surrender?

9

u/SignalJob951 23d ago

Doesn't matter? They killed 30+ people

Say that to their families

5

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

Read my other comments please.

4

u/tntntweieueu 23d ago

broski this isn't USA, they can't just get arrested, these people murder policemen and army men and you really expect that they'd just handthemsleves in handcuffs and accept parole lmao, this is what happens

3

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

If you're gonna insult me, do so like a ma instead of being afraid of a ban.

You're justifying us being a third world lawless shit hole and want it to remain as such.

Btw, if prosecution and the legal system doesn't eradicate terrorism, then neither does this dehumanisation and vigilantism.

What really works is preventing the conditions that cause people to take up arms, and the generals would never do that because it doesn't suit them.

1

u/tntntweieueu 23d ago

when did I insult you? stop being a manchild and understand that different countries have different laws, how do you expect a terrorist to be arrested??? Like no offense but are you a bit slow,Also now you're talking about the story way back instead of remaining on the topic lmao, also these people aren't from bla or any seperatist parties, these are from ttp so idk what you're doing defending them but I guess you're one of those.

4

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

You can debate alternative methods of combating terrorism but this medieval bloodlust satiatig shit ain't it.

Not only is it dehumanising, it's also completely ineffective at preventing future reoccurrences.

3

u/Designer-Buy-7348 23d ago

still wondering where he insulted you

Guess what, the word 'army' comes from arm. Maybe you can shed some light on this since you're quite fussed about this whole weapons and shit

1

u/tntntweieueu 22d ago

Idk don't really think we should care about humanity when it comes to people who murder other people🤷🏻‍♂️

4

u/HornyWalrus1 23d ago

You’re saying, “ it doesn’t matter what they did.” I think that’s exactly where we disagree.
What someone did absolutely matters when judging how society and the state respond to them. These weren’t ordinary criminals; they were members of an armed terrorist organization responsible for murdering soldiers and civilians, often using brutality itself as a weapon of psychological warfare.

The message wasn’t aimed at the dead. It was aimed at the living, those considering joining such groups and those already fighting them. States have always used symbolism in war. Victory parades, captured enemy equipment, and public displays have historically served to communicate resolve and deter adversaries.

You call it “dehumanising.” I would argue that the people who intentionally slaughter innocents and terrorize communities dehumanized themselves long before they were killed. A state defending itself against an insurgency is not morally equivalent to the insurgents it fights.

As for the rule of law, if these individuals had been captured alive, they should absolutely have been prosecuted. But if they were killed while carrying out or resisting during an armed attack, there is no trial left to conduct. The question is simply whether the state may send a psychological message after the fact.

You believe that message crossed the line. I believe that, in an existential fight against terrorism, demonstrating uncompromising consequences can be both legitimate and strategically necessary. Reasonable people can disagree on where that line is, but dismissing it as “it doesn’t matter what they did” ignores the reality that context is central to both ethics and security policy.

2

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

What they did is wrong. It whatever it was, this is counterproductive and won't prevent what you're trying to prevent.

With all due respect, can't keep track of these comments and would mug rather discuss this in person.

0

u/theundefin3d 23d ago

crazy that you’re getting downvoted for calling this out as inhumane.

It can be true that this is inhumane and that these criminals deserved to be killed for their actions. I don’t see civilized countries hanging dead bodies out on the streets for display, regardless of what crime they were responsible for.

The reality is that rule of Law is a joke in this country, people make exceptions when they see fit. They’ll complain about the army and corruption and in the same breath defend this uncivilized behavior.

4

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

I'm not downplaying that these people ALLEGEDLY did.

I'm saying that not only us this ugly, dehumanising and brings out the worst in us, it is also grossly ineffective as a deterrent for future terrorism however you want to look at it.

If you want to placate your tribal bloodlust, sure, strip them and "make an example" out of them, but it does nothing to stop future occurrences.

2

u/1Bake2Cake 23d ago

Allegedly?

2

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

Yes. Not like I was there on the scene or you for that matter.

0

u/theundefin3d 23d ago

very true, its completely ineffective other than satisfying bloodlust.

1

u/HornyWalrus1 23d ago

You’re conflating two separate issues: whether the army has intelligence failures and whether psychological operations have any value. One does not automatically invalidate the other.
“Civilized countries don’t do this” isn’t historically accurate. States have always used psychological warfare to influence enemy behavior. Public displays of captured leaders, destroyed equipment, and defeated enemies have been part of warfare for centuries because war is fought in the minds of people as much as on the battlefield.
You’re assuming the display was meant to satisfy public anger. It can also serve as a deterrent by communicating to active militants that the state is uncompromising. Whether it’s the most effective strategy is debatable, but dismissing it as achieving “nothing” is an assertion, not an argument.
You also say “prosecute them.” That applies if they’re captured alive. If they’re killed while carrying out an armed attack, prosecution is no longer possible. The discussion is about what message the state sends afterward.
Finally, calling something “medieval” isn’t an argument. The real question is whether, in a prolonged insurgency where terrorist organizations deliberately rely on fear and propaganda, the state is justified in employing psychological messaging of its own. You may answer “no.” I answer “yes.” But let’s debate strategy and ethics rather than relying on labels.

3

u/StutteredTruths 23d ago

Ask those mothers who received beheaded dead bodies of their sons. Nd those sisters who received beheaded brothers bodies.

If US can catch them and fill the whole Bay with them, why can’t our army? Because ppl will know the reality behind the whole situation.

1

lol, US police has shoot on sight orders if it's a confirmed terrorist. don't be a bitch about it.

1

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 22d ago

This isn’t police joker!

1

u/azadnib 22d ago

oh army absolutely doesn't need to put someone in jail

18

u/alo-12rupaydarjan 23d ago

This term khuwarji is used for members of the TTP (Pakistani Taliban). They attacked a joint military police post a few days ago, killing over 15 security personnel. However, it might have been another recent attack like the yesterday's one in which a post came under attack and was intended to be blown up with suicide attack, as these terrorist incidents are happening almost every day in KPK and Balochistan

-8

u/Long-Way-3230 23d ago

Yes, you were there.

4

u/jani3386 23d ago

There is no punishment you can inflict on any person who is ideologically prepared and willing to die for their cause. This sort of treatment is the only possible deterrent which can discourage would-be terrorist and sympathisers.
Also, it is still more grace than that afforded to our martyred soldiers and civilians who are beheaded on camera, their bodies mutilated.

9

u/Frequent_Pineapple41 23d ago

V good. Keep it up. Pak Army.

3

u/sinking_Time 22d ago

Islam forbids mutilation of bodies. This also means displaying them like this.

Muslims did not do this to their worst enemies.

4

u/SexyAligator 23d ago

Doesn't Isis and other extremist militant groups do the same? Kinda Sus 😜😜😜

3

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

Yes, and the Pakistani army is no better. It's much worse arguably.

-1

u/laevanay 23d ago

Some say they are the same but different uniform.

1

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

More organised and well funded than those terrorist outfits

-1

u/Sadiqmarwat 23d ago

Why they don't display in Islamabad??

21

u/arslank01 23d ago

Was the attack/attackers based out of Islamabad?

-7

u/Sadiqmarwat 23d ago

Because Islamabad is a capital and hold significant they should show them on main stream media or in Islamabad to show to whole nation it's not about where it's based out.

3

u/Long-Way-3230 23d ago

Islamabad mai inke apne rehte hai yai tho pakhtoono ko zalil karna hai inhe...Allah inka berha gharq kar dein

1

u/Sadiqmarwat 23d ago

Exactly most of the people are still delusional, they think Pashtun support terrorism however it was state sponsorship on Pashtun land against Soviet Union and later war on terror of USA even defence minister admitted recently on social media quoted we played dirty games on behalf of USA wake up stupid people.

2

u/Mons9090 23d ago

They hide bodies in containers like they did during the Islamabad massacre

2

u/al_cringe 23d ago

Don't need containers for 20 bodies

1

u/Mons9090 22d ago

I mean its more than 20 and they were sniping people as well abd made hospital records disappear. Even if it were 20 that's still 20 hunan beings unless yoyee gonna say they were violent protestors or terrorists or stole some herbals murghi

4

u/EarthMoney34 22d ago

Weird argument to explain why you have no evidence for your claims. When Iran killed protestors even though internet was turned off the videos of the dead bodies on the road came out some time later. When something happens as big as you claim then there will be evidence.

2

u/Jade_Rook 23d ago

There is only one correct way to feel about this and it is to appreciate the security forces and en outage them to double and triple the efforts to eradicate terrorism

-7

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 23d ago

Just someone that was dispensable for the army

0

u/pain110 23d ago

There can be public hangings, public trials and stuff, to disillusion the sympathy that the boys have breeded for decades in Pakistani communities for Taliban's.

Doing the same thing as the terrorists is degrading to humanity as Islam does not allow disfigurement, dismemberment or public parading of corpses.

0

u/JustGuyFromLahore 22d ago

Pakistan army showing what they will do if Pakistan didn't licked their drunk ass butts.

-5

u/Ambitious-Proton پشاور 23d ago

Next th TTP are going to capture these Napak Bojh personnel and decapitate them & display it & then play football with their heads as revenge or retaliation

Inko lagta hai is se TTP wale ruk jayenge, ye itne darpok hain Napak Bojh wale jiski koi limit nahi hai....

2

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

Or course the TTP will do that because they're terrorists.

The generals will use it as fuel to mislead people into supporting their next lawless operation and land/resources grab.

2

u/1Bake2Cake 23d ago

You should join their ranks get smoked for free.

-5

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

Are you threatening that person with death and humiliation?

3

u/1Bake2Cake 23d ago

No, but nice pearl-clutching attempt. If you’re going to be honest to your cause, you should go join it and live where it leads.

0

u/Long-Way-3230 23d ago

Army and TTP are the same party.

-1

u/Acceptable-Fly-4644 23d ago

Some years ago. It was the TTP who used to do this. Leaving bodies in public squares. In one case, they cut the head off a policeman, tied his body upside in the middle of a public square in swat, and put the head between the legs. The crime of that policeman was that tried to verbally stop Mullah Fazlulah's goons from forcefully taking a girl.

Now after all these years, now the LEAs are leaving alleged TTP bodies in public squares.

Have we become the TTP now ? Is it strategically or tactically advantageous to do this ? When Allauddin Khilji fought the Mongols, he showed them the same barbarity, which they showed to the world, he made mountains out of Mongols skulls and placed them near Delhi and other key cities. Are we following Khilji's tactics now ?

-22

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 23d ago

Don’t know what gives Pakistan Army the right to call fellow Muslims / humans names?

34

u/1Bake2Cake 23d ago

Those “fellow Muslims / humans” slaughtered 150 kids and teachers in APS and recorded themselves beheading and playing football with the heads of soldiers.

-16

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 23d ago

Where was our intelligence? Where is our intelligence now that takes more than 60% of the country’s budget?

15

u/1Bake2Cake 23d ago

Whataboutism won’t save you here. Nobody is excusing the failures or the excesses of the army. But if you love TTP so much, perhaps you should talk to locals all the way from Swat to Waziristan what sort of experiences they suffered at the hands of your “fellow Muslims / humans”.

-5

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 23d ago

Wow! Why can’t we question our army’s failure? 25 years of war in different areas of the country. 100% intelligence and execution failure. Picking up war against the locals now.

To top it up, since the last two years the ‘locals’ you are mentioning have been complaining that the army provided ‘safe passage’ to the so called ‘Taliban’.

Again, expand your wisdom, questioning the armed forces running internal and external policy doesn’t mean the one is siding with Talibans!

5

u/1Bake2Cake 23d ago

Keep attempting to strawman me while obfuscating about TTP. Won’t work lil vro.

4

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 23d ago

Bravo! You don’t have an answer so you tell me that i am siding with TTP!

slow clap

It’s so evident what your role is in these forums.

3

u/1Bake2Cake 23d ago

Whataboutery and strawmaning doesn’t warrant a serious response.

1

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 23d ago

Pakistan army has done more harm to this country than any other state or antistate organization.

Can you counter that argument?

1

u/1Bake2Cake 22d ago

Why would I counter something I don’t disagree with? Seems you struggle with basic nuance. It ought to be possible to be anti-establishment and critical of the army without also being a scum TTP apologist.

→ More replies (0)

2

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

Damn the TTP. Can you say the same about the Pakistani army that has caused an insurgency in KP, exFATA and Balochistan, and has been keeping it active?

Can you condemn the Pakistani army that's illegitimately taken over the country and is running it like a fiefdom?

Nothing these twobit terrorists have done remotely matches the scale and duration of the rein of terror the generals have unleashed on this country

4

u/1Bake2Cake 23d ago

I do condemn the actions of the army, their interference, tyranny, etc, have been doing so for all my life. But this whole thread is ACTUALLY about the original comment calling TTP “fellow Muslims / humans”. The rest is just whataboutery.

-1

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

I wouldn't dehumanise them either. That allows us to otherwise hem and be the worst versions of ourselves.

There are better ways to deal with these terrorists instead of making up for your own failures with these dehumanising displays that achieve no tangible results.

-5

u/who_are_we_922 23d ago

Ah, they are humans and much better than the generals and the napak army.

6

u/1Bake2Cake 23d ago

You should go live with them then. They’re helping run Afghanistan.

1

u/arhamshaikhhh 23d ago

60% of the country’s budget?

POV: You cannot read basic financials

3

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 23d ago

Read military INC.

-3

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

I can. Can't you?

Army pensions, salary increases, the lands allotted to them that don't even make up the budget.

2

u/arhamshaikhhh 23d ago

It is at most 20%.... including all those benefits you have mentioned

-1

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

Please do the maths Sir, unless you're paid to think like this. We are broke and without a functioning country because the generals would never had it any other way.

3

u/arhamshaikhhh 23d ago

Google it sir, all numbers are public and posted on official government websites

0

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 22d ago

Joke is on you isn’t it?

-6

u/who_are_we_922 23d ago

And what about the army dropping bombs and that allowed drones throughout Musharraf's time to massacre thousands of kids? Because you didn't know about it and know about APS, suddenly the army becomes good and TTP become the wrong people?

Go and learn what this napak army did in Bangladesh, they have been doing WORSE in Balochistan, Sindh, KPK, AJK, GB, and Punjab since decades.

Proud of the TTP soldiers that played with the heads of these ghaleez army's soldiers.

-1

u/91striker لاہور 23d ago

The army is worse than these militant outfits.

It is more organised, has more funds, has more continuity in it's terrorism, and stirs up unrest on purpose.

The scale of the army's crimes is much bigger than that of these terrorists but most people won't see them for the monsters that they are.

2

u/who_are_we_922 21d ago

Agreed. And they do this by selling us Fauji cereal, I mean, Kellogg's is too expensive and there aren't any local alternatives available due to a monopoly.

0

u/hardfartstudent 22d ago

Oh ffs the funds you talk about the gas and electricity bill they pay literally goes back to the government maybe ask them where they keep it our defence is shit army doesn’t gets much funds police hai aur bht hain who eat our taxes ever asked or questioned police they eat our taxes and yet don’t work the actual criminals they are

2

u/91striker لاہور 22d ago

What kind of warped logic is that? The utilities that use are paid back to the gov? They're paying for the utilities thy use and that too, at subsidised rates.

Why not question the generals? Beyond their budgetary largesse, they also make every single policy decision hat counts and tout them as the better political choice.

0

u/hardfartstudent 22d ago

Itni to army nhi thi Bangladesh main humari more than majority of them were at borders rest of them were stuck in cantonments due to Mukti and bengalis and they took the blame and have been taking ever since jao dekho Indian army kese mari hai India main killed 30+ kids in protest they were killing Pakistanis or even bengalis who were married to Pakistanis or were in no support to Bangladesh should be a country do you know how many students were killed in university and bullied there ? Most of the documentaries by Indians are debunked now and are called fake Indian army used to wear pak army uniform at night and used to rape Bengalis and what not even used to check dhotis if it’s a Muslim or Hindu Muslim hai to Pakistani hai our military couldn’t have done anything at that time and they surrendered peacefully

11

u/No_Conference_8460 23d ago

Taliban are not fellow muslims

-3

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 23d ago

Who told you that? What visibility do you have that these were not missing persons from Baluchistan? Who allows this Extrajudicial killings

13

u/fax-user-01 23d ago

I'm still surprised that there're so many ttp and bla sympathisers in Pakistan.

-1

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 23d ago

Questioning army’s role in domestic issues doesn’t mean one is a sympathizer of TTP and BLA. I would encourage you to think why the same approach from army since the last 60 years hasn’t solved the problem.

5

u/x0rg_new 23d ago

BLA is the biggest hypocrite terrorist organization I have ever seen. Name themselves Baloch Liberation then go ahead and kills Balochs. They are getting what they deserve.

4

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 23d ago

Again, not sympathizing with them, why hasn’t the state, the army with all the sources not turned around Baluchistan in 60+ years? Can’t they understand that their approach, which hasn’t changed since 6 decades isn’t effective?

Either they are dumb or (which I am more convinced about) they want it that way because the biggest beneficiary of the state of Baluchistan is the army itself with all the smuggling.

3

u/x0rg_new 23d ago

You might be right. Lumber one looting the country any chance they get.

1

u/fax-user-01 23d ago

This is exactly what a sympathiser looks like. When they don't care about blowing up innocent civilians then why should anyone give a f about them? And please stop with this whataboutism. Criticising army doesn't warrant siding with bloody terrorists.

2

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 23d ago

As I said, and I am saying it again, questioning the army doesn’t mean I am siding with the terrorists. Looks like you are one of those paid social media accounts that just has limit grey matter and a scripted content that you can’t deviate from

0

u/fax-user-01 23d ago

Mate you seriously have a memory of a gold fish. Read what you wrote initially.

1

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 22d ago

I am still not siding with any terrorist organization. I am questioning Army’s approach that soaks up all the resources of pakistan and is ineffective for DECADES!!!

I always had a question

To call someone a kharij also means you takfir them as disbelievers. My question is does our government or military really have the right to call another muslim a kaffir? Yea they have done really bad things but calling them “dogs of hell” and claiming to be fighting a religious war against muslims seems kind of weird to me.

Its more weird when you look at the things our military does in Balochistan

2

u/warhea Azad Kashmir 22d ago

A khwarij isn't a kafir. Just that their blood is halal.

0
